Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to projects that help optimise production, improve efficiency and support safe mining practices. Some of your work may include: <ul> <li>Assist with mine planning and production activities</li> <li>Support drill and blast design, implementation and analysis</li> <li>Contribute to production reporting and equipment performance reviews</li> <li>Assist with operational improvement and optimisation projects</li> <li>Analyse mining data to identify trends and opportunities</li> <li>Support engineering studies and technical investigations</li> <li>Work closely with mining, geology and processing teams to deliver operational outcomes</li> </ul> Program locations Northparkes Operations, NSW Located 27 kilometres north-west of Parkes in Central West New South Wales, Northparkes is a world-class copper and gold operation and one of Australia's most automated underground mines. Roster: 5:2/4:3 Included: Subsidised accommodation, flights at the commencement and conclusion of the program, plus return travel home during the festive period. Cowal Gold Operations, NSW Located near West Wyalong in Central New South Wales, Cowal is one of Australia's largest open pit gold mines, offering students exposure to a large-scale mining operation within a supportive regional community. Roster: 5:2/4:3 Included: Subsidised accommodation, flights at the commencement and conclusion of the program, plus return travel home during the festive period. Ernest Henry Operations, QLD Located near Cloncurry in north-west Queensland, Ernest Henry is a world-class copper and gold operation renowned for its underground mining and mineral processing activities. Roster: 5:2/4:3 Included: Residential accommodation, site transport, flights at the commencement and conclusion of the program, plus return travel home during the festive period. About you We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands-on and keen to grow their technical skills.
