<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:12.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>POWER YOUR GREATNESS</b></H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify">PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion. <br> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>General Purpose</b></H2> </div><div><p>Develop engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company SCADA system used for electric grid monitoring, protection and control.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Assist in the design SCADA portion of substation projects including modifications to RTU configurations and point list implementation in the Monarch EMS/SCADA system.</li> <li>Work with dispatch systems support to ensure the remote data requirements are incorporated into the PacifiCorp Monarch EMS/SCADA system.</li> <li>Assist in design, development, modification, and evaluate systems, process, or facilities to support company objectives, utilizing engineering methods.</li> <li>Assist in developing moderately complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.</li> <li>Determine methods and techniques for obtaining results.</li> <li>Recommend alternative engineering solutions to management to meet business needs.</li> <li>Deliver on commitments and manage outside engineering services to accomplish the assigned work.</li> <li>Maintain project timeliness and budgets.</li> <li>Analyze and design engineering methods.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional responsibilities for Level 2 Engineer include;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead design of SCADA projects</li> <li>Design, develop, modify, and evaluate systems, processes, or facilities to support company objectives.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically four years of additional related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a Bachelor’s degree.
