Works hands-on with manufacturing equipment and activities. Identifies and supports process improvements. Uses judgment, experience and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations. May help determine methods and procedures on new assignments</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Supports production line on a daily basis to help deliver yields, throughput and product quality</li> <li>Trains and coaches front-line production employees (operators) on proper processes and procedures</li> <li>Utilizes KT and Lean tools to reduce downtime, increase yields, and improve costs and product quality</li> <li>Supports or leads optimization and standardization projects understanding DMAIC tools</li> <li>Facilitates the sharing of learnings across shifts and across product lines</li> <li>Works on equipment projects to reduce costs, downtime and/or defects and increase yields</li> <li>Gives input into development and implements new equipment on the production line</li> <li>Proactively guides front-line production employees and technical teams to comply with safety, health and environmental regulations</li> <li>Creates project plans that identify resources and accurate timeline</li> <li>May be asked to participate in developing a new process or machine to improve the current process</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experiences/Education - Required</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Math/Science Background</li> <li>Has mechanical and/or electrical aptitude</li> <li>Has had other roles that lead to a better understanding of the equipment and overall processes</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Experiences/Education - Desired</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Lean Fundamentals</li> <li>Yellow Belt or Green Belt</li> <li>PEx tools</li> <li>Has had several leadership opportunities</li> </ul></div></div></div>
