Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world. Scope of the role: As Division Quality Engineer, you'll operate at the intersection of continuous improvement leadership, hands-on quality system support, and data-enabled decision-making — helping CET's quality organization become more consistent, more responsive, and more preventive. Champion Performance Excellence (PEx) Across the Division: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Serve as the division's PEx champion, promoting continuous improvement methodologies, structured problem-solving, and process excellence.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Partner with site and functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, apply best practices, and drive projects to successful completion.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support proactive identification and mitigation of alpha and beta risk by strengthening process controls, measurement systems, issue prevention, and decision-making rigor.</li> </ul> Support Plant/Process Quality Assurance (PQA): <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide hands-on support for divisional PQA activities, including quality system improvements, process monitoring, standardization, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Help align quality systems across sites, improving consistency and enabling faster, more effective issue resolution and prevention.</li> </ul> Enable Data-Driven Quality: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and operational data to surface trends, drive decisions, and inform priorities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Develop and improve dashboards, reports, and data tools to increase visibility and speed across the division's quality processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through data systems, digital tools, and — where appropriate — AI-enabled solutions.</li> </ul> Drive Cross-Functional Execution and Adoption: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support divisional quality projects and promote consistency in quality practices and metrics across sites.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lead training, documentation, communication, and adoption of new quality processes, systems, and improvements.</li> </ul> Required skills and Education: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">3-5 years of experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, continuous improvement, or a related discipline.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Strong aptitude for manufacturing performance analytics, reporting, and working with data systems.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Proven ability to identify trends, solve problems, and drive process improvement initiatives.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence improvements across teams in a matrixed environment.</li> <li
