The IT Developer Engineer is responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with technology standards and business objectives.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities:</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Design, develop, and maintain software applications, tools, and system enhancements based on business requirements.</li> <li>Analyze user needs and technical specifications to create effective software solutions.</li> <li>Support system integration activities between internal applications, databases, and third-party platforms.</li> <li>Collaborate with business users, IT teams, analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.</li> <li>Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, coding standards, and support procedures.</li> <li>Support software releases, patches, upgrades, and post-implementation activities.</li> <li>Ensure applications comply with security, data protection, and company IT standards.</li> <li>Provide technical support for developed applications and resolve production issues as needed.</li> <li>Stay updated on emerging technologies, development tools, and best practices to support continuous improvement.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Education & Experience - Required</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, application support, or systems engineering.</li> <li>Be good at SQL Server and strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or other relevant technologies.</li> <li>Be good at data analysis experience (Power BI)</li> <li>Experience with IT system of manufacture.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Education & Experience - desired</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Databrick experience.</li> <li>Active work attitude, good learning ability and good communication.</li> </ul></div></div></div><p>Corning is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and considers requests for reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws.
