This includes month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany, fixed assets, and reporting. The role also supports transition activities and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.</p> <p>Key Performance Indicators </p> <ul> <li>Internal and external Customer Satisfaction:</li> <li>SLA achievements, including delivery performance; quality and timely communication.</li> <li>All financial reporting for the region meets agreed business requirements in terms of relevance, accuracy and timeframes.</li> <li>Support for the ongoing improvement of new processes.</li> <li>Support the growth and development of Finance proposition over time.</li> <li>Efficiency gains and process improvements, measured through specific KPIs.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Core Areas of Responsibility/ Accountability </p> <ul> <li>Perform month-end close activities in SAP ECC (or S/4HANA).</li> <li>Post standard and ad-hoc journals, intercompany reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.</li> <li>Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.</li> <li>Support group reporting and management reporting requirements.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with SOX /internal controls and accounting policies.</li> <li>Participate in transition activities including documentation, knowledge transfer, and stabilization.</li> <li>Identify and support process improvement opportunities.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across regions.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Regulatory and Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to compliance with budgetary and financial reporting requirements.</li> <li>Assist and contribute to necessary statutory compliance, licensing and insurances for Landis+Gyr businesses.</li> <li>Assist with internal and external auditing procedures as required and contribute to ensuring corrective actions are achieved Corporate Citizenship.</li> <li>Manage Energy Better: Consciously drive for continuous improvement in reusing, recycling or reducing waste.</li> <li>Maintain awareness of identified and potential health and safety, quality and environmental aspects within the workplace and their impact, including the reporting of any accidents/incidents/near misses or hazards.</li> <li>Act responsibly to meet the objectives/requirements at the appropriate level as described in the Landis+Gyr policies.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Operational Excellence </p> <ul> <li>Support the optimization of cost-efficient processes, contribute to the efficient, systematic and profitable operations in order to meet SLA timelines and quality demands</li> <li>Support the introduction of new technologies</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>Professional experience </p> <ul> <li>Minimum 6 years’ experience in a General Ledger function in a medium sized organization.</li> <li>Relevant SAP knowledge and experience.</li> <li>Relevant Cognos knowledge and experience.</li> <li>High level of computer literacy</li> <li>International experience highly desirable.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of R2R processes, transition and Continuous Improvement has context menu.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Required Experience</p> <p>Educational / Professional or Vocational Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Semi qualified CA or M.Com or B.Com Graduate</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills - Good written and verbal language skills, as per country requirement for the in scope profile.</li> <li>Good Negotiation Skills.</li> <li>High customer service orientation.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize optimally, be flexible as needs change.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why Join Us? </strong></p> <p>At Landis+Gyr, you’ll be part of a mission-driven company shaping a more sustainable energy future.
