To start as soon as possible, permanent RWE Supply & Trading (RWEST) has a diverse commodity trading portfolio including power, gas emission certificates, renewables – wind, hydro and batteries, LNG, freight, weather and biomass. The Company is also responsible for the commercial optimisation of RWE’s entire asset business and offers large industrial companies and trading partners trading-based portfolio management, long-term supply concepts and risk management solutions. RWEST is present across the globe including in UK, Europe, China, Singapore, India, Japan, Indonesia and Australia. RWEST has been present in Singapore since last 14 years and has grown manifolds in the past 6 years with newly established presence in five other countries in APAC (Japan, China, Indonesia and India). Today, we are around 120 people in the region with 80 in Singapore. Back Office is responsible for the trade lifecycle management of all deals concluded by our Front Office. This includes sending out deal confirmations, managing margin and collateral payments, controlling balancing group accounts, sending out invoices and settling deals. We work closely with all major departments including the Trading Desks, Risk, Finance, Accounting and Legal.
