Want to play a key role in one of the UK&apos;s most exciting infrastructure projects?</p> <p><br>Here at GXO, we&apos;re looking for a Shift Lead to join our team in Bristol, supporting the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Nuclear Build, the first in a new generation of UK power stations delivering low-carbon electricity to millions of homes. You&apos;ll oversee warehouse operations, ensuring items are received, prepared, and dispatched safely and compliantly to site, while leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results.</p> <p><br>This is a full-time permanent position. You&apos;ll be working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6am to 6pm. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pay, benefits and more:</strong></p> <ul> <li>We&apos;re looking to offer a salary of up to £16.17 per hour, paid four-weekly, and 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you&apos;ll do on a typical day:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate a team of operatives across the Warehouse</li> <li>Ensure accurate receipt, preparation, and dispatch of items for the HPC build</li> <li>Monitor quality checks and compliance standards for safe storage and transport</li> <li>Manage workflow and priorities to meet operational targets and deadlines</li> <li>Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing guidance and resolving issues quickly</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you need to succeed at GXO:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse or logistics environment</li> <li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team</li> <li>Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>A keen eye for detail and commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards</li> <li>Flexibility and adaptability to support different operational areas and changing priorities</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.</strong></p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
