<p>The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.</p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Stores Operative</strong><br><strong>Boccard</strong><br><strong>Hinkley Point C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Main Duties:</strong></p> <p><br>To manage all our operations within the engineering stores, managing goods in and materials, stock monitoring &amp; ordering. Assessment of parts movement versus demand.</p> <p><br>1. Liaising with the management team to ensure all stock requirements are met<br>2. Issuing tooling to tradesmen as and when required<br>3. Collate materials required to fabricate steel pipe supports<br>4. Deliver a high standard of administration within the team to reduce stock errors and achieve good stores order accuracy<br>5. Managing goods in and out ensuring correct quantity and quality<br>6. Actively working alongside the management team implementing and driving improvements<br>7. Adherence to all policies and procedures including health and safety rules and regulations<br>8. Maintaining housekeeping<br>9. Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently<br>10. Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner<br>11. Always maintaining a safe working environment<br>12. Driving company van. Delivering and collecting goods from suppliers<br>13. Assist with the training of others where competency in trade allows.<br>14. To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.<br>15. To be fully aware and comply with Boccard UK Ltd.&apos;s policy on Equality &amp; Diversity. <br>16. Ensuring all electrical equipment is PAT tested.<br>17. Ensuring all relevant equipment is calibrated and labelled.<br>18. Making sure all welding consumables are stored in the correct environment (Temp/Humidity) to procedure and checked daily by signing a check sheet.<br>• Adhere to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures<br>• Report unsafe practices, behaviours and equipment and health, safety, quality and environmental concerns and incidents<br>• Support a positive health, safety, quality, environment culture offering improvement suggestions and participating in review of work and practices<br>• Endeavour to apply good housekeeping in all areas of work<br>• Support and participate in HSEQ improvement initiatives.</p> <p><br><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Essential</strong></p> <p><br>Full UK Driving License<br>CCNSG or similar H&amp;S accreditation <br>FLT certification <br>PAT testing certification is desirable<br>Engineering stores management.<br>IT skills including the use of windows-based computer software.<br>Knowledge of basic procurement processes</p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
