By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.</span></p> <p> </p> <p class="prefix-job-title"><span style="color:#706f6f"><strong>Join us as a</strong></span></p> <h1 class="job-title"><span style="color:#dc0000;font-size:28.0px">Warehouse Associate - TEMPORARY CONTRACT </span></h1> <p> </p> <div id="jobcontent" style="width:100%"> <div class="custom-tasks"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>Your main responsibilities</strong></h4> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"><p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>This is a temporary, contract position </strong></span></p> <p>Responsible for supporting warehouse and shipping/receiving operations by ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials, while maintaining safety, quality, and organizational standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:<br>• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner.<br>• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments; verify condition and sign for materials upon confirming no visible damage. Immediately report any damaged shipments to the delivery personnel and supervisor.<br>• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and other relevant documentation.<br>• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and hand trucks, to transport materials to designated storage or work areas.<br>• Distribute parts and materials to Quality Control (QC) and other departments; route non-inventory items to appropriate personnel.<br>• Deliver completed documentation to the appropriate department for processing.<br>• Pick, prepare, and package items for shipment, including inspecting, weighing, and counting materials using appropriate scales.<br>• Stage products at designated packaging areas and assemble packaging materials as needed.<br>• Process shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other parcel services; identify and report discrepancies to supervisors.<br>• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with quality, quantity, labeling, and addressing standards.<br>• Review production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine material handling and distribution needs.<br>• Relocate materials within the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory and efficient storage practices.<br>• Perform cycle counts of inventory as assigned to ensure accuracy and accountability.<br>• Conduct routine forklift maintenance, including battery charging and monitoring water levels.<br>• Maintain adequate inventory of shipping materials and supplies.<br>• Ensure work areas, equipment, and tools are clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.</p> </div> </div> <div class="custom-requirements"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>What you bring</strong></h4> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"><p>• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year related experience and/or training preferred<br>• Regularly required to stand up to 8.0hours a day. <br>• Frequently required to walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, bend and crouch. <br>• Frequently lift/carry 50 to 60lbs. <br>• Frequently exert up to 60 lbs of force to push/pull objects or equipment. <br>• An individual driving a DOT Vehicle (CMV) must get a DOT certification and pass a DOT Physical</p> </div> </div> <div class="custom-benefit"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></h4> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"> <ul> <li style="color:#706f6f">Fully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.</li> <li style="color:#706f6f">Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.</li> <li style="color:#706f6f">3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.</li> <li style="color:#706f6f">Tuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.</li> <li style="color:#706f6f">Parental Leave – 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.</li> <li style="color:#706f6f">A wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.</li> </ul> </div> <div style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px"> </div> </div> <div class="custom-contact"> <h4 style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>We Elevate… Your Career</strong></h4> <p style="color:#706f6f;font-size:14.0px">Become part of our team, help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
