The RAN Developer will be responsible for developing, and maintaining software solutions that support RAN tools within the A1 Radio Delivery Center. You will bridge the gap between software engineering and network operations, creating automation tools that make our radio networks more efficient and reliable.
Your daily routine would include:
• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain in-house web applications (Python/Flask) and automation tools. You will enhance existing application functionality and enrich automation solutions to keep pace with evolving network needs and changes. • Automation Discovery & Design: Collaborate with RAN engineers to identify opportunities for automation, translating manual network delivery challenges into efficient, scalable technical solutions. • Platform Scaling & Integration: Integrate new systems and networks into our internal automation platform to expand our delivery capabilities. • Database Management: Design, query, and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) that house critical network configuration data. • Configuration Consistency: Maintain and update automation tools to ensure network configurations are consistent. You will work closely with the Radio Engineering team to align on parameter standards. • Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and scalable code. You will support the modernization and maintenance of existing automation suites and legacy application code. • Process Excellence: Adhere to best practices in testing, change management, and technical documentation.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
• Experience in software design and implementation. • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. • Experience in JavaScript and Python. • Hands on experience in Windows and LINUX. • Ability to write clean, scalable/modular code; • Experience with GIT, SNOW, Jira is a plus; • Knowledge of IP and mobile network architectures is a plus; Excellent English Language skills, both written and verbal. • A creative, hands-on approach to problem-solving: You have an innate drive to build functional solutions from the ground up and a genuine curiosity to uncover the "why" behind complex systems to engineer smarter, error-proof results.
