The NC New Teacher Support Program is seeking an Instructional Coach to support beginning teachers through consistent, individualized, in-the-moment coaching aligned to individualized growth and personalized professional development. The primary role of the NC New Teacher Support Program Instructional Coach 10 month position is to support beginning teachers through the delivery of the program’s three core services: 10 professional learning institute, 2) individualized instructional coaching, and 3) aligned professional development. Master’s degree and current NC teaching license required Minimum of five years teaching experience with measurable student outcomes Experience leading adult professional learning Knowledge of NC Standard Course of Study, NC Professional Teaching Standards, NC DPI Induction Program, Mentor Standards and teacher leadership standards Killed in data collection, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making Strong collaboration, communication, and technology skills Approachable, collaborative, reflective, motivating, and solutions-focused Highly knowledgeable of the Teaching Fellows program and initiatives
