Job SummaryYou will serve as a DEPUTY PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT in the Operations Department (C/300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and executing production work of various trades in support of ship system overhaul, repair, or modification projects to ensure completion of work phases in accordance with project schedules. Major DutiesYou will manage and oversee all aspects of the project, including the planning, engineering, production, testing.You will determine the scope of the work package, evaluate the ability of the Shipyard to support the work packages, and recommend modification of the work package, if necessary.You will determine the manpower, material, facilities, and other needs of the project.You will be responsible for following and enforcing all established safety rules and requirements.You will monitor the project's budget and overtime expenditures and key aspects of the project's work progress.You will oversee a diverse workforce composed of nearly all of the Federal Wage System trades in the Shipyard.
