QualificationsSpecialized Experience: GS-15: Applicant must demonstrate one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties: Developing Federal real property strategies for high-value projects to analyze consolidation, disposal, and/or redevelopment options; Leading real estate projects involving multiple to develop feasibility analyses, housing plans, and/or space requirements; Applying financial analysis methods to real estate projects to prepare analytical recommendations to senior leadership; and Supporting negotiations with Federal agencies and/or external partners to present policies and/or project information to stakeholders. Major DutiesThe primary purpose of this position is to serve as senior policy advisor that represents the PBRB with external Government agencies including GSA, OMB, other agencies, and the Congress, as well as with the private sector. Duties performed: Supervises the development of complex feasibility analyses and housing plans, covering multiple agencies, multiple locations, and hundreds of thousands of square feet of space. Provides technical advice and guidance on a myriad of federal real property related activities as well as obtaining and reviewing contract offers related to real estate services. Recommends use of office resources and communicates priorities and tracks organizational performance. Prepares cost comparisons for different methods of obtaining and disposing of real property. Monitors proposed legislation, executive orders, and other regulatory and statutory guidance related to real property and assesses the impacts on the FASTA and the PBRB implementation of real property programs and projects.RequirementsYou must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
