QualificationsOne year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: analyzing financial processes to document requirements for business process/systems request; or performing analysis/testing to validate business solutions and ensure compliance with financial management policies. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Major DutiesServes as an expert on financial management operations.Collects, analyzes and validates financial data from various sources to inform the development of a accurate and realistic spending projections and budget requests.Prepares, reviews and analyzes a variety of complex financial reports, providing BL executives and senior management with accurate, definitive, and timely information on budget status and performance.Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and DoW financial management and budgetary laws, directives, policies and regulations.
