Job SummaryYou will serve as a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Major DutiesYou will deliver/pick up materials to/from customers and verify material movement documents against packages to ensure correct identification and quantity.You will load, unload, tarp and un-tarp and ensure cargo is protected from the weather and is properly distributed and secured to prevent damage or loss while in transit.You will operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in excess of 30,000-pound capacity.You will record and report mileage, fuel and oil consumption, accidents, damages, traffic violations, defects in vehicle operation or need of maintenance in accordance with local standard operating procedures.You will update supply databases, such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) to generate trip manifests and to create or update records to ensure that material movement transactions are processed.You will assist supervisors by identifying driver priorities and consolidating request when possible.You will use personal computers, telephone, radio, and dispatching equipment in the performance of daily assignments.You will perform general warehouse housekeeping to include cleaning vehicle, waiting areas, and work areas as needed.
