Summary of the role As a Quality Engineer at Nordson EFD, you play a key role in driving product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across our operations. The position blends hands-on, customer-facing (technical) quality support with the systematic optimization of internal processes. While much of the role is externally focused, a significant portion is dedicated to strengthening internal quality systems and operational performance. The guiding principle is simple and consistent: structured improvement, every day. Role and Responsibilities Customer Quality & Field Support - Act as the quality interface for customers in EMEA - Support customer audits, quality reviews, complaints, and corrective actions - Lead structured root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) - Translate customer quality requirements into clear internal actions and standards - Represent Nordson EFD professionally during on-site customer visits Internal Quality & Operational Improvement - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Operations and Quality - Analyze production, assembly, and logistics processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities - Support and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO-based) - Contribute to internal audits, KPI monitoring, and data-driven improvement initiatives - Work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams Skills and Qualifications - HBO degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field - Strong command of English (spoken and written); German and Dutch
