About this role
You start each workday with a friendly chat with your colleagues, making sure everyone is focused and ready to get to work. As a Warehouse Operator, you and your team are responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. As a Warehouse Operator, you ensure the warehouse runs smoothly by picking orders with a handheld scanner, packing and labelling products, transporting pallets with an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT), wrapping pallets, checking orders for accuracy, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You are also happy to support other departments whenever needed, because teamwork is at the heart of DSV. This is what we ask from you: - You are at least 18 years old and have a VMBO level of education or equivalent working and thinking level; - You have a good command of the English language; - You enjoy working as part of a team; - You live within commuting distance of Moerdijk and have your own transportation; - You are available full-time (40 hours per week) and can start within 2 weeks; - You are willing to work in a fixed two-shift schedule (06:00 - 15:00, 07:00 - 16:00, 08:00 - 17:00, or 15:00 - 00:00); - You work accurately, prioritize safety, and take responsibility for your tasks;
