About the role
A fast-paced, high-volume fashion eCommerce brand is rolling out Northbeam as its new multi-touch attribution platform. We’re looking for a data pro who can own the end-to-end implementation, stitch data across Google’s marketing stack, and turn raw signals into crystal-clear insights the growth team can act on daily.
What You’ll Tackle
Northbeam Deployment
Lead discovery, scoping, and phased rollout Map & validate data streams (Shopify/BigQuery, marketing APIs, pixel events) Build and QA multi-touch attribution models that reflect real customer journeys
Google Ecosystem Mastery
Configure GA4, GMP (Ads, CM360, SA360) & BigQuery for clean data hand-offs Establish rigorous UTM conventions & server-side tracking to improve signal loss post-iOS 17
Data Pipeline & Warehousing
Design ELT workflows (Fivetran/Airbyte or equivalent) feeding a centralized warehouse Own schema management, data quality monitoring, and automated anomaly alerts
Reporting & Insight Generation
Develop Looker/Tableau dashboards that surface daily cohort ROAS, MER, and LTV Run ad-hoc analyses (SQL, Python, or R) that influence budget allocation and creative testing
Cross-Functional Enablement
Train channel managers on reading Northbeam & GA4 outputs Partner with dev team on tag governance and site-speed impact Present findings to executive leadership in plain English
Success Milestones
30 Days: Northbeam architecture designed, implementation timeline locked, key stakeholders trained on data prerequisites 60 Days: Core data feeds live, attribution models yielding actionable insights, first dashboards shipped 90 Days: Full funnel visibility achieved, lift in blended ROAS tracked, data QA processes automated Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
3+ years hands-on experience in eCommerce data analytics or marketing tech implementation Proven Northbeam (or similar MTA platform) setup— pixel, API, server-side, & event taxonomy Deep expertise with Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, BigQuery, and Consent Mode SQL fluency; comfortable writing and optimizing complex queries Familiarity with Shopify (or comparable cart) data structures & event payloads Strong storytelling chops—able to translate technical findings into clear business actions Track record of improving attribution accuracy and driving growth team efficiency
Bonus Points
Python/R scripting for advanced modeling or automation Experience in a high-SKU, drop-heavy fashion or beauty environment Prior work with ad platforms beyond Google (Meta, TikTok, Snap, Amazon Ads) Knowledge of privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and server-side tracking best practices
