NATO's Office of Workplace Management and Business Continuity (WMBC) is hiring! The Electricity Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of electrical installations at NATO Headquarters. They are also responsible for the inspection of executed works by external maintenance firms ensuring that they are completed in accordance with normal/standard methods, using appropriate materials and in accordance with established contract specifications. Learn more about the position and apply here: https://bit.ly/452DA8e QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE The incumbent must: be certified to a secondary technical education level in electrical or electromechanical engineering OR possess an equivalent diploma/certification with a BA5 certification (electrical safety for qualified staff); ¿ have at least 6 years' experience in the maintenance of technical electrical installations on complex and large-scale sites such as office or industrial buildings; ¿ have a very good understanding of electrical systems such as emergency generators as well as high and low voltage electrical systems, UPS and Passive Network Infrastructure (PNWI); ¿ possess a valid driver's license; ¿ possess the following minimum levels of NATO's official languages (English/French): V (¿Advanced¿) in one; II (¿Elementary¿) in the other. The following would be considered and advantage: - Knowledge of the rules and procedures of the host country (RGPT/ARAB - RGIE/AREI); - Ability to program Dali and KNX systems; - Ability to use Autocad suite.
