With design and consulting teams across Europe, Africa, and Asia, the company delivers high-impact airside infrastructure projects worldwide. To strengthen its European Design & Consulting team, ADB Safegate is currently looking for a Designer based in Belgium. Jobomschrijving Your main responsibilities include: Managing airside design and consulting projects from concept to execution Coordinating multidisciplinary teams (designers, technicians, external consultants) Producing and reviewing technical reports, engineering calculations, and design documentation Developing airside infrastructure designs (lighting, signage, markings, cabling, AVDGS systems, etc.) Preparing bill of quantities and technical specifications for tendering and project execution Ensuring compliance with ICAO standards and aviation regulations Providing technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases Communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting design solutions Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in tools, processes, and systems Supporting and mentoring junior team members Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in design projects (aviation/airport industry strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory) Good understanding of airside infrastructure and airport operations is a strong asset Fluent in English Based in Belgium or willing to relocate
