Java Frontend Developer Location: Brussels, Belgium Work Model: Hybrid (1 day/week at the office) Contract Duration: 1 year Start Date: ASAP Experience: 8–15 years About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Frontend Developer to join a long-term project within the banking sector. You will work in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of modern front-end applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Vue.js. Build high-quality, scalable solutions following front-end best practices. Create unit test cases and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD). Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards. Work with Azure for deployment, repositories, and code reviews. Support CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end testing using Playwright. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and customer-facing teams. Required Skills Strong experience with React.js and Vue.js. Hands-on experience with Azure (deployment, repositories, and code reviews). Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Good knowledge of ES6, Git, unit testing, and TDD. Experience with Playwright for automation testing. Good understanding of Agile methodologies. Banking domain experience. Customer-facing experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Soft Skills Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent project and time management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to summarize and communicate key findings effectively.
