As a GL Accountant, you will join a dynamic and international finance team in Mechelen. This role offers a comprehensive view of the entire accounting cycle and provides opportunities to expand your expertise by gaining insight into our international processes. Your key responsibilities as General Ledger Accountant: Managing the balance sheet and profit & loss statements Accounts consolidation and reconciliation Supporting accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Preparing VAT and corporate income tax declarations, financial statements, and statistical reports for 10 EU countries Providing monthly reports and analyses for other departments Ideal profile of the General Ledger Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years' experience in GL or General Accounting Excellent communication skills in English Knowledge of accounting standards such as Belgian GAAP or US GAAP Analytical mindset with a strong sense of ownership and independence Proficient in Excel Experience with SAP is a plus
