For our Module Factory we are hiring an Operations Shift Manager to reinforce and support our Operations teams. Your job: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you lead assembly, disassembly, and inspection teams within a high-performance aerospace environment. You ensure daily workshop operations run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with customer, aviation, and Safran standards. Your focus is on delivering engine shop visit milestones on time while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety. Main tasks and responsibilities: Operations & Planning Translate weekly production plans into daily priorities Manage shop floor activities to achieve on-time delivery Allocate workforce and resources efficiently Ensure smooth shift handovers Coordinate with planning and support teams Team Leadership Lead and coach Team Leaders, Mechanics and Inspectors Drive training and performance improvement Support recruitment and development Foster teamwork and accountability Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with HSE standards Promote a strong safety culture Ensure adherence to aviation quality standards Participate in audits and corrective actions Performance & Continuous Improvement Monitor performance using QRQC Identify and implement improvements Manage quality deviations Optimize processes and operations Your profile: You are both a leader and a team player, able to inspire while collaborating with others. You bring expertise, holding a Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment. You have proven strong people management skills and the drive to take on new challenges with confidence. You are analytical and resilient, thriving under pressure and keeping a sharp focus on deadlines. You are communicative and fluent in Dutch, French and English. You are flexible, ready to work in shifts (Monday to Friday: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit.
