As a Automotive Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in executing projects efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety standards and best practices.
*Duties*
* Perform skilled work in your trade, including installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. * Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. * Troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing solutions to minimize downtime. * Document work performed and report any discrepancies or concerns to supervisors. * Mentor apprentices or less experienced workers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
*Requirements*
* Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in the relevant trade. * Valid certification or license as required by local regulations. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients. * Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment. * Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. * Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to your trade.
