*Position Summary*

Minami Yaletown is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our back-of-house operations! This role plays an essential part in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works well in a fast-paced setting, and contributes positively to a team-oriented culture.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently * Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored according to health and safety standards * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit and surrounding areas * Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors, garbage disposal, and recycling * Support kitchen staff with restocking supplies (e.g., plates, cutlery, cleaning materials) * Remove waste and ensure proper disposal in accordance with local regulations * Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (including HACCP principles) * Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed * Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow

*Qualifications*

* Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment * Strong attention to cleanliness and organization * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs * Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
