Associate Dentist (Part-Time/Casual)
Dr. M. Ahmad Dentistry Professional Corporation is recruiting Associate Dentists to provide emergency and basic dental services in Ontario correctional institutions under the Ministry of the Solicitor General and to other places .
Qualifications
\* Current RCDSO licence in good standing.
\* Minimum 3 years of clinical dental experience.
\* Competent in emergency dentistry, dental extractions and restorative dentistry (fillings).
\* Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
\* Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) preferred, or willingness to obtain all required Ministry security clearances before commencing work.
Responsibilities
\* Provide emergency and basic dental treatment, including examinations, extractions, fillings, and management of dental pain and infections.
\* Complete treatment on the same day whenever clinically appropriate.
\* Treat approximately 8?10 scheduled patients per clinic day.
\* Maintain accurate patient records.
\* Submit a daily clinical activity report summarizing the number of patients treated and procedures performed (e.g., extractions and fillings).
\* Comply with all RCDSO, Ministry, and IPAC standards.
Work Schedule
\* Typical clinic hours are 8:00 a.m.?12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.?4:00 p.m.
\* Dentists are expected to be punctual and remain on site until the scheduled clinic closes, unless otherwise authorized.
