*Duties*
* Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing according to client specifications and breed standards * Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized after each use * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations * Handle dogs safely and compassionately, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners * Assist with managing appointment schedules to ensure timely service delivery * Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving large or heavy dogs safely within the grooming area * Keep detailed records of grooming services provided for each pet
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with a strong portfolio of completed grooming styles * Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and appropriate grooming techniques * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients * Ability to lift heavy dogs safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the day * Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific procedures as needed
