*Job Duties*
* Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders * Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment (MIG, TIG, flux-core and arc welding) * Weld components in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions * Fit, position and align components to be welded * Examine welds and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications * Operate metal-shaping, straightening and bending machines * Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment * Follow ABS established safety practices and regulations; report any unsafe conditions or practices to management
*Job Requirements*
* Diploma/certificate in welding or a related trade; Red Seal endorsement (Welder 456A) considered an asset * At least 3 years of relevant work experience * English language proficiency
