JOB SUMMARY
Officially greets and caters to the needs of customers, graciously hosting, accepting payment, and assisting staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ensures exemplary customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides information regarding specials.
• Checks out the bank and operates the cash register.
• Verifies check-in and cash register reconciliation and prepares shift-end check-out and cash register reconciliation.
• Promptly accepts customer bills and payments, and processes cash, credit card, coupons, or comps.
• Maintains knowledge of current menu and/or specials and Wildhorse events.
• Takes an active role in promoting guest service and advises F&B Managers of guest service issues.
• Assists with seating arrangements, including moving tables and chairs.
• Takes names for the waiting list, and calls people over the P.A. system when going down the list.
• Adheres to cash handling procedures established for cashier/host/hostess staff.
• Answer room service calls, take orders, deliver food to the room, and verify the method of payment.
• Helps maintain a smooth flow in the dining room between guests and servers.
• Assists as needed with table bussing, settings, and side work.
• Handles guest questions/concerns promptly and professionally, deferring disputes/conflicts to the supervisor.
• Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, and safety codes, etc.
• Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
• Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Other related duties as assigned.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:
• POS system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Six (6) months of experience in a position requiring exceptional customer relations skills.
• Six (6) months of cashier experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to count back change accurately and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills-verbally ability to provide instruction, responds to questions and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Needs to stand and/or walk for long periods; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 25 lbs.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
• Requires a High-Security Gaming license clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
