The Accounts Receivable Clerk's key responsibility is to ensure proper invoicing and collection activities are completed while adhering to all corporate policies and procedures. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is an individual contributor and works within established process and guidelines under the general direction of the Supervisor Accounts Receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices
• Maintain customer contact information
• Ensure invoices are transmitted to customers electronically, via entry into customer portals or through the mailing of invoices.
• Record daily cash receipts
• Apply payments to customer accounts
• Identify and communicate payment shortfalls for follow up.
• Clear approved deductions
• Track all unauthorized deductions for follow up.
• Maintain Customer Portal access.
• Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education Required:
• High School Diploma/ GED and a minimum of two years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer SAP (Systems Applications & Products (ERP System) Experience/Knowledge
• Intermediate skill with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Aptitude for problem solving

Work Environment
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will work in an office setting and the incumbent is required to have the ability to operate standard office equipment (Computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, phone).
Pay:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour*
