Compensation & Benefits:
• Starting Pay: $26.00 an hour + Shift differential

Position Summary:
Unison Health is seeking compassionate and motivated Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our Children's Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). This is your opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families by providing care, support, and encouragement in a safe, home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
• Serve as the lead decision maker for the shift
• Assist in new staff onboarding
• Lead afternoon shift huddle (include point review)
• Assign evening staff responsibilities
• Assist with call offs
• Communicate concerns to program manager and/or director
• Support crisis response and behavioral interventions
• Coach staff during therapeutic interactions
• Monitor/coordinate groups, recreation, and family visits
• Review and finalize point sheets
• Coordinate point store shopping
• Maintain point store inventory
• Review incident reports
• Coordinate evening routines and overnight handoff
• Ensure documentation is complete before shift end

• Assist with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, chores, and recreation
• Lead and participate in structured activities and learning opportunities
• Document progress, behaviors, and interactions
• Use trauma-informed approaches, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions when needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe, supportive environment
Education & Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• 3 years or more supervisory experience with children
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license & insurable (if driving required)
• CPR & CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
