Brief Description

The Guest Experience Associate provides operational and administrative support that enhances the overall weekend guest experience and special events. This role ensures that the systems, resources, environments, and hospitality touchpoints needed for ministry are organized, welcoming, and ready to serve guests. The Guest Experience Associate oversees café operations, coordinates campus events, assists with volunteer onboarding and communication, and partners with ministry leaders to create consistent, excellent experiences for guests and volunteers.

Primary Objective

To create exceptional and meaningful experiences for guests by providing an outstanding café environment and coordinating campus events that often serve as a first point of connection for individuals seeking community, care, and an opportunity to encounter Jesus.

Responsibilities

Café & Hospitality Operations

• Oversee café operations, including inventory management, ordering, organization, cost control, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.

• Partner with ministries utilizing the café space to maintain consistent operational, hospitality, and service standards.

• Recruit, train, equip, and develop café volunteers to ensure they understand expectations and provide an excellent guest experience.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and organization of retail merchandise and branded products.

Campus Resources & Event Coordination

• Coordinate campus weddings, funerals, and outside events by managing guest communication, logistics, agreements, payments, scheduling, and resource coordination.

• Ensure campus spaces, supplies, and resources are prepared and maintained for weekend services, ministry gatherings, and special events.

Weekend & Ministry Support

• Support the Guest Experience Supervisor in creating welcoming, organized, and consistent weekend experiences.

• Collaborate with ministry leaders and campus teams to plan and execute exceptional weekend services, events, and ministry initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, environments, and guest interactions that help people take their next step toward Jesus.

Systems & Administrative Support

• Utilize systems including Church Community Builder (CCB), Martus, Google Workspace, and shared drives to maintain accurate records, track costs, manage processes, and support ministry operations.

• Assist with volunteer onboarding, communication, scheduling, and ongoing engagement.

• Monitor operational metrics and provide information that helps evaluate effectiveness and improve ministry systems.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

• Experience in hospitality, operations, event coordination, customer service, or volunteer management preferred.

• Ability to create welcoming environments and provide excellent service to guests, volunteers, and ministry partners.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with staff and volunteers.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage systems, processes, inventory, and administrative responsibilities.

• Comfortable learning and utilizing technology platforms, databases, and digital communication tools.

• Ability to recruit, train, and develop volunteers while creating a positive team culture.

• Flexible, dependable, and willing to serve in a fast-paced ministry environment, including weekends and special events.

2026 CAMPUS STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

This role is a direct lever on two of the three 2026 campus priorities: hospitality quality shapes whether new Saturday night guests return (Priority 1), and the Relational Intake Framework's Tier 2/3 hand-off is a literal front door into the discipleship pipeline (Priority 3).

• Priority 1: Build a new Saturday night service experience to reach the lost (Attendance Goal: 1,000).

• Priority 2: Raise up the NextGen (Kids/Students) to an attendance of 950.

• Priority 3: Become disciple-makers as a church staff (Goal: 110 active discipleship groups and 20% of congregation in a group—1,000 people).

Compensation

Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour Rate determined by experience and our internal compensation structure.
