POSITION SUMMARY
Assist the service department in the shop and yard.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monthly Safety Inspections
• Forklift inspections
• Shop safety inspection
• Eyewash station inspection
• Fire extinguisher inspections
• Lifting chain inspections
• Check expiration date on all certificates (air tanks, cranes, operating permits, etc.) and implements
• Inventory Control on Tool Room Daily:
• Clean and organize tools, supplies and tool room
• Check tools and supplies in and out
• Note and repair damaged tooling
• Provide a initial and updated tool inventory list
• Schedule tooling certification and calibration as required
• Contamination Control Duties Daily:
• CCC Inspections
• CCC projects as assigned including but not limited to:
• Cleaning oil spills
• Painting safety lines and areas
• Restocking CCC supplies
• Inspecting CCC clean room daily
• Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
• Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
• Ability to problem solve involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid class C driver license and a clean DMV report.

COMPENSATION
Wage Range 24.57 Hourly
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
