Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Essential Functions
• Lead and coordinate a team performing requirements development, analysis, management, documentation, and communication activities supporting Coast Guard C5I programs.
• Collaborate with Government personnel, system engineers, technical leads, and stakeholders to develop, refine, and maintain system requirements and requirements baselines.
• Develop high-quality requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation in accordance with established engineering and C5ISC standards.
• Conduct requirements elicitation activities through meetings, interviews, technical discussions, document reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
• Analyze, organize, validate, and maintain requirements to ensure completeness, consistency, traceability, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle, including baseline development, change control, configuration management, and traceability.
• Maintain requirements data within Government-approved Requirements Management Systems, including LAUNCH PAD and associated repositories.
• Develop and maintain requirements models, work breakdown structures, use cases, templates, data dictionaries, and other supporting artifacts.
• Identify requirements gaps, conflicts, dependencies, risks, and data deficiencies, and develop recommendations for resolution and continuous improvement.
• Produce reports, metrics, briefings, templates, and other documentation supporting requirements management activities and program decision-making.
• Support the development and maintenance of Enterprise Requirements Library content, requirements inventories, and associated documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance oversight to junior analysts and project team members.
• Prepare project status updates, level-of-effort estimates, risk assessments, and recommendations for Government leadership.
• Participate in on-site and virtual technical meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), reviews, and working groups.
• Perform CONUS travel, as required, to support customer meetings, collaboration activities, and program execution.
Required Education and Experience
• Associate degree in a technical, engineering, business, information technology, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting requirements development, requirements analysis, requirements management, or requirements documentation for complex technical or information systems.
• Experience leading or coordinating technical teams and managing work assignments and deliverables.
• Demonstrated proficiency in requirements development, analysis, management, and documentation.
• Experience working collaboratively with Government customers, engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience using LAUNCH PAD or a comparable enterprise Requirements Management System.
• Experience developing and maintaining requirements traceability, requirements baselines, and configuration-controlled documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, briefings, and requirements documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and travel within CONUS as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, or other Federal Government organizations.
• Experience supporting Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) activities.
• Experience developing Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), or similar engineering artifacts.
• Familiarity with requirements modeling techniques, UML, SysML, or LML.
• Experience supporting C5I, enterprise IT, or systems engineering programs.
• Experience briefing technical information to Government stakeholders and senior leadership.

Salary range: $86,000 - $110,000
