In this role, you'll be the person helping ensure products are filled, inspected, repaired, and ready for use while maintaining a safe, organized yard that customers and teammates can depend on.

What You'll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days
• Learn company safety procedures, cylinder-filling processes, and cylinder recertification requirements.
• Become familiar with yard inventory, storage locations, and ordering procedures for commonly used materials and components.
• Assist experienced team members with hose assembly, tank refurbishment, and routine yard operations.
• Start supporting customers at the parts counter by helping identify products and locating inventory.
What Success Looks Like After 90 Days
• Safely and accurately fill and recertify cylinders with minimal supervision.
• Maintain organized inventory records and proactively identify items that need replenishment.
• Assemble custom hoses that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Confidently assist customers with parts inquiries while contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained yard operation.
Responsibilities
• Fill customer cylinders with industrial gases while following all safety and quality procedures.
• Inspect and recertify expired or out-of-date cylinders to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Order yard materials, parts, and components to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Assemble custom hoses according to customer specifications.
• Support parts sales by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
• Participate in tank refurbishment and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help ensure timely restocking of materials.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe through routine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
Must Have
• Ability to safely lift, carry, pull, or move up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safety-first work environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Reliable attendance and ability to perform hands-on, physical work throughout the day.
Nice to Have
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of mechanical experience.
• Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment.
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, industrial gas, welding supply, or related industries.
• Experience assembling hoses, performing equipment maintenance, or refurbishing tanks.
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $21-24 per hour (Depending on Experience)
