About this role
In this dynamic position, you'll manage a variety of payroll processes, prepare interim, monthly, and year-end payroll reporting, and collaborate closely with Human Resources and Finance to support accurate payroll operations and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities
• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for over 1,000 employees, both domestic and international.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll-related journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure the accurate distribution of employee pay, including paychecks and related payroll documentation.
• Administer payroll deductions, benefit withholdings, garnishments, and related transactions.
• Balance the payrolls and generate the related journal entries.
• Compile and validate employee timekeeping data to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Calculate and withhold federal, state, and local taxes.
• Stay current with labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll requirements.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with government regulations and company policies.
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
• Answer employee questions about paychecks, deductions, taxes, and leave balances.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and payment issues.
• Generate payroll summaries and financial reports.
• Reconcile payroll records with accounting systems.
• Work closely with human resources, payroll manager and finance team.
• Provide support with reconciling payroll information to general ledger.
Education
• Associate's degree or higher in business, finance/accounting or a certification in payroll.
What You'll Need to Succeed
• Minimum of 3 years' experience processing payroll or accounting
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency in UKG/MyPro/Workforce Management experience is a plus.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and multitasking abilities to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills including electronic file organization.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness, good judgment and initiative applying critical thinking to all work.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
