Formed from the combined expertise of Commercial Office Environments and Furniture Flair, we bring together premium office furniture, contract flooring, and custom residential furnishings under one roof at our showroom on Front Street.
The Role
We are looking for a Specifier & Project Coordinator to turn designer approved layouts into vendor ready drawings and product specifications, primarily for our Technion office furniture line, and to support each order through to delivery. This role works closely with our sales and project management team and follows a project from design hand off through to the client's site.
What You Will Do
• Take designer approved layouts and produce specification drawings in AutoCAD, matching products to the correct line, primarily Technion
• Prepare bills of materials and manage the order placement process with our vendors
• Track orders through production, shipping, and customs clearance, and confirm manifests match what was ordered
• Coordinate delivery and installation logistics with the sales and project management team
• Manage order changes requested during a project and update specifications and orders accordingly
• Support general project administration and vendor coordination between specification projects
What You Bring
• At least two years’ experience with AutoCAD and furniture specifications is essential. Knowledge of Teknion or a similar systems furniture line is preferred.
• Comfort managing a varied workload, including general administration and coordination between larger design and specification projects.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through, this role tracks each order from design through delivery.
