How will this help you grow
As a Product Designer Intern, you will join our Core Products team and gain hands-on experience designing real products used by our customers every day. This role is ideal for senior-year students or recent graduates looking to kick-start their careers in product design. You will work alongside experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to contribute to user research, create scalable UI components, and ship meaningful product improvements that make a real impact.

What you will be learning
• Execute End-to-End Design: Support the core product team by designing user-centric flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs for new features and product enhancements.
• UX Research & User Insights: Assist senior designers in conducting user research, analyzing user feedback, and researching industry best practices, UX patterns, and competitive products to inform design decisions.
• Apply Design Systems: Learn, utilize, and help maintain our "Mint" Design System to ensure visual consistency and scalability across our ecosystem.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, product managers and software engineers to understand technical constraints and successfully ship your designs.
• Iterate Based on Feedback: Actively participate in design sprint, review sessions, gather feedback from senior team members, and rapidly iterate on design solutions.

• Currently a 3rd or 4th year student in Product Design, UX/UI Design or a related field (candidates from any faculty are welcome with a strong portfolio).
• UX/UI Fundamentals: Understanding of user-centered design principles, user flows, interaction design, and basic UX methodologies.
• Figma Proficiency: Comfortable using Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Problem Solving: Curious about user needs and able to understand product requirements, identify problems, ask thoughtful questions, and create practical design solutions.
• Communication Skills: Able to clearly explain design ideas and collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Growth Mindset: Open to feedback, eager to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced product environment.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving approach, and visual design skills through academic, personal, or internship projects.
• English Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English for collaboration and documentation.
