About this role
CNAs will be scheduled to work four 12-hour shifts per week, either day shift (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) or night shift (6:45 pm – 7:15 am). This may include weekend and holiday coverage.
Job Duties:
• Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
• Documentation of patient location, status, and activities
• Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
• Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
• Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
• Initiates corrective action as appropriate
• Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients’ conditions
• Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
• Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
$20 per hour
