Job Summary
Inch and Co is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Quarry Operator to join our team in York, PA. The Quarry Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment used in quarry extraction, material processing, and site maintenance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring daily production goals are met while maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating heavy machinery in a quarry, mining, or aggregate production environment and takes pride in reliable, precise work.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, haul trucks, drills, dozers, and/or crushers) to extract, move, and process rock and aggregate material
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance; report mechanical issues or hazards promptly
• Assist with drilling and blasting operations as directed
• Monitor stockpiles and production to meet daily output targets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support general quarry operations, including road maintenance and crew coordination

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience in a quarry, mining, or aggregate setting preferred
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and reliable attendance
