Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Specialties
Make a Difference Every Day At Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, we're seeking experienced, compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Medical Specialties team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.
What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse, you will:
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team. • Educate patients and their families to support positive health outcomes. • Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practices to guide clinical decision-making. • Accurately document patient care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and service excellence. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and ongoing professional development. • Serve as a mentor or preceptor as opportunities arise.
Qualifications:
Required Education
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Required Experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent, relevant Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting.
Required Licensure & Certifications:
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • ACLS preferred
