Experienced Global Quality Specialist in mechatronics/electronics – VELUX Skjern/Østbirk

Do you want to play a key role in bringing new technology into production and supply chain while ensuring high quality standards?

Meet your future team You will join Global Quality at VELUX. We are looking for a new colleague who will bridge Product Development and our global supply chain, ensuring that quality is embedded from the earliest product concepts through project execution and into stable operations. Working closely with colleagues across Operations & Supply, you will become part of a skilled and experienced team that plays a key role in developing and manufacturing our high-quality products. Skjern is the primary work location within a possible hybrid working model, with a minimum on-site presence of two days per week and as needed for business activities. Østbirk may be used as a secondary work location. Your will report to the Senior Area Quality Manager.

What we offer As our new experienced global quality specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring quality is integrated throughout a major strategic technology project. Working closely with colleagues across Product Development, Engineering, Operations and Supplier Quality, you will bridge development and supply chain, ensuring quality is embedded from concept through industrialisation and into stable operations in own production as well as at sourcing partners More specifically, you will:

• Act as the Global Quality Lead for the supply chain in New Product Launch (NPL) and Engineering Change teams, coordinating and driving quality activities from target setting through implementation and improvements.

• Ensure a holistic, transparent, and end-to-end approach to quality throughout the value chain.

• Support Supplier Quality as a Process/Part Subject Matter Expert during industrialisation and approval activities.

• Support additional quality improvement initiatives and projects across the organisation.

• Drive and support the resolution of quality issues across supply and production companies.

What you will bring As a person, you are collaborative and engaged, with a structured and persistent approach to your work. You are a curious problem-solver with a good sense of humor and a strong drive to see things through. You thrive in a matrix organisation, balancing multiple priorities while building strong relationships and securing commitment across functions. You enjoy working in international teams and navigating different cultures, and you communicate confidently in English and preferably also Danish, both verbally and in writing. Moreover, you will fit perfectly if you:

• Have a technical background, e.g. a B.Sc. in Electronics, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or a related field.

• Have solid experience driving quality in complex projects.

• Experienced in project management and are comfortable coordinating activities and stakeholders across a matrix organization.

• Have strong experience with the manufacturing and assembly of mechanical and/or mechatronic components.

• Are skilled in quality management tools and practices such as FMEA, RCA, MSA, statistical methods, and Six Sigma.

• Are familiar with ISO standards and the APQP methodology.
