About this role
Risk Services partners with UMB management and its obligation to effectively manage compliance and related risks within the UMB family of corporations. This team provides timely, accurate, and seasoned judgment related to regulatory compliance risk, suggests strategies for mitigating risk, promotes a strong culture of compliance, and fulfills regulatory expectations of administering effective compliance monitoring and other mandated programs. As the Enhanced Due Diligence Manager (EDD), you will be responsible for providing leadership of the EDD function in support of the enterprise BSA/AML compliance program. This would also include responsibility for providing leadership of the Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions program processes and team.
How you’ll spend your time:
• You will be responsible for supporting the Director of BSA/AML in executing on the BSA/AML risk management initiatives and communicating performance and initiatives to senior management, auditors, and regulators. • You will be a subject matter expert (SME) and work with leadership to identify and implement program enhancements to ensure continual development and progression of the program to meet changing/evolving money laundering and terrorist financing risks. • You will coach, mentor, and manage the personnel within the respective team and establish appropriate performance standards to ensure quality program results. • You will ensure timely and quality EDD reviews, comprehensive high risk customer reviews, and processes for identifying higher risk customers. • You will assist with identifying and implementing enhancements to the EDD program, communicating CDD requirements to the business units, and implementing regulatory changes. • You will ensure timely and accurate completion of CTRs and appropriate disposition of OFAC suspect matches.

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of industry relevant experience OR • Seven (7) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree. • You have at least five (5) years of previous BSA/AML experience or related risk management area. • Thee (3) years enhanced due diligence experience or equivalent 3 years CTR and OFAC processing experience.  Compensation Range: $117,900 - $173,393
