Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 6+ Years
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux administration, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, networking, and platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with engineering teams to identify recurring customer issues and propose scalable platform solutions. • Design, implement, and maintain secure, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. • Support services through system design reviews, capacity planning, and launch readiness assessments. • Monitor and maintain production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. • Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvements to increase operational efficiency. • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues. • Participate in on-call rotations and incident management activities. • Implement and maintain security best practices, including certificate and identity management.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. • 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering. • Strong experience with Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS). • Experience designing, scaling, troubleshooting, and securing large-scale distributed systems. • Proficiency in automation and scripting using Java, Go, Python, or Ruby. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, mTLS, and network troubleshooting. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation. • Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. • Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments. • Experience with Load Balancers such as HAProxy, F5, or cloud-native solutions. • Hands-on experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, Telegraf, or Wavefront. • Experience managing SQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or CloudSQL. • Familiarity with Security and Identity Management tools such as Vault, Venafi, EJBCA, or ForgeRock. • Experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Consul, or HAProxy.
Good to Have
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Rundeck. • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms including Grafana, Datadog, and Wavefront. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to quickly learn and master new platform technologies.
