Organization: PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation ALD Position Overview: Join our rehabilitation team and play an important role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. As a Rehab Aide, you’ll work alongside therapists and clinical staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering outstanding patient care and creating a positive patient experience.
In this hands-on role, you’ll assist with preparing and maintaining treatment areas, supporting patient mobility and transport, organizing equipment, and completing clerical and administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly. You’ll interact closely with patients, families, and the care team, building trust through compassionate support, attentive care, and effective communication.
We are looking for candidates with a rehabilitation background or strong hands-on healthcare experience who are passionate about patient care and thrive in a team-oriented environment. EDUCATION:
HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
Professional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/ collaboration, customer service and community relations.
Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

Pay Range is $28.65 to $35.81 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
