Job Description: Responsibilities
Business Strategy for Midstream & Group Strategic Investments (M&I)
• Support the development of business strategies and long-term growth plans through market research, data analysis, and strategic planning for Global Trading portfolio, and associated assets (Mills, Bulk Refineries, amongst others). • Assist in developing investment frameworks, evaluation criteria, and strategic priorities. • Support portfolio reviews to identify investment opportunities, strategic gaps, and capital allocation priorities. • Contribute to business improvement and strategic initiatives.
Strategic Investments
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor analyses to evaluate investment opportunities. • Support due diligence, investment evaluations, and business case development. • Coordinate project planning, stakeholder engagement, and consultant management for strategic initiatives. • Prepare investment proposals, evaluation materials, and approval papers.
Business Performance Monitoring
• Prepare reports and presentation materials for monthly operational meetings. • Monitor operational, commercial, and financial performance against KPIs. • Analyse performance variances and identify key business drivers to support decision-making.
Others
• Provide strategic and analytical support to the Chief Growth Officer and Head of M&I on corporate assignments and special projects within the President's Office.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Economics/ Finance/ Accounting/ Engineering • Up to 2 years in strategies, commodities, supply chain, corporate planning or related fields will be an advantage. • Knowledge in strategic business planning, corporate finance and project management.
