This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with Private Equity clients and portfolio companies, to shape and deliver data-driven insights that drive business performance and investment returns.
What your days will look like:
Your main area of focus will be financial modelling, helping clients make better decisions across transactions, value creation, business planning, forecasting, restructuring and transformation.
As part of this team, you will help design, build and review models that support a wide range of business needs. This could include:
• Building market sizing, revenue and business sizing models to help clients understand market opportunity, growth potential, customer segments and commercial drivers.
• Developing business plan, budget and forecast models that translate strategy, operational plans and trading assumptions into robust financial outputs across profit, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Creating decision support models and “what if” analysis to assess strategic options, investment cases, pricing decisions, margin improvement opportunities, cost reduction initiatives and financing scenarios.
• Improving clarity and transparency for investors, finance providers and business owners through succinct, KPI-driven forecasts that incorporate key operational, commercial and financing sensitivities. Adding credibility to growth plans by analysing historical performance and translating findings into a clear view of revenue, margin, cash and profit dynamics.
• Supporting cash and liquidity management through short-term cash flow models, covenant analysis, working capital analysis and downside scenario planning.
• Providing independent model review services to increase stakeholder confidence in the structure, logic, calculations and outputs of key financial models.
You will work closely with clients and senior team members to understand the commercial questions behind the model, define the right modelling approach, gather and test key assumptions, and communicate outputs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will not be expected to have a specific sector specialism. The role will give you exposure across a range of sectors, including Industrial Products; Energy, Utilities, Mining & Infrastructure; Business Services; Real Estate; Financial Services; and Retail, Consumer & Leisure.
Most importantly, we need you to become a trusted business partner to our clients, using modelling and analysis to help answer critical commercial questions and support better decision making.

This role is for you if: You are analytically minded, commercially curious and eager to apply data-driven thinking to apply financial modelling to solve real business problems. You combine strong technical capability with an ability to explain insights clearly and credibly.
`Essential skills & experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of business performance drivers. Understanding of financial statements and KPI frameworks (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Ability to translate technical outputs into clear commercial insights and recommendations.
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments and across multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive and curious, with a passion for learning new technologies (including GenAI applications).
• Collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines.
