About this role
Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Customer Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary Pricefx configuration & technical ownership • Lead and review Pricefx configuration using Groovy scripting to implement complex pricing logic, workflows, validations, calculations, and UI behaviors. • Own solution design for price lists, discount structures, approval flows, rebate agreements, and pricing governance constructs. • Own and maintain CI pipelines for Pricefx configuration artifacts (scripts/logic, packageable configuration, integration templates) and for any related integration services. • Design scalable, high-performance calculation logic (header/line-level execution, validity management, performance tuning). • Establish reusable components, accelerators, and configuration standards to improve maintainability and delivery speed. AI-enabled pricing & analytics enablement • Shape and embed AI-assisted pricing use cases such as: o intelligent deal guidance within defined approval guardrails o anomaly detection on price changes and margin leakage o segmentation-driven discounting and elasticity signals o compliance alerts and exception monitoring • Guide implementation of pricing KPIs including margin waterfall, realized price, winrate vs discount, price variance, and rebate effectiveness. • Ensure explainability, governance, and auditability of AI-driven outputs within pricing workflows. Delivery leadership • Lead a Pricefx configuration workstream or small team (3–8 members). • Own technical design decisions and manage complex configuration dependencies. • Translate functional requirements into technical design and delivery backlog. • Drive sprint planning, defect triage, SIT/UAT readiness, release governance, and hypercare support. • Manage technical risks, performance issues, and integration dependencies. Data & integration collaboration • Work with integration/data teams on ERP/CRM/CPQ interfaces, ensuring correct mappings, validations, and reconciliation controls. • Oversee data quality checks for price lists, customer/product hierarchies, agreements, and rebate datasets. • Validate end-to-end data integrity across inbound and outbound interfaces. Documentation & quality • Produce and review configuration design documents, Groovy logic notes, deployment guides, and runbooks. • Conduct code/configuration reviews and enforce secure engineering practices. • Establish quality gates and review standards across the configuration team. Level-specific expectations • Lead technical design for advanced configuration areas (multi-step workflows, advanced calculations, performance optimization). • Provide effort estimation, planning inputs, and WBS/story sizing for Pricefx workstreams. • Mentor Senior Associates and Associates; enforce coding standards and delivery discipline. • Act as primary technical escalation point for configuration and integration challenges. • Engage directly with client stakeholders to explain design tradeoffs and solution implications.
Must Have: • Hands-on Pricefx implementation experience with configuration ownership. • Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting with demonstrated delivery of pricing logic in enterprise environments. • Hands-on familiarity with at least one CI/CD platform (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, or CircleCI) and pipeline-as-code practices. • Solid understanding of pricing concepts: price lists, discount governance, segmentation, approval workflows, rebates/incentives. • Experience leading cross-functional teams (functional, data/integration, QA, release). • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability. • Bachelor’s degree minimum (Engineering/CS/IT preferred).
Good to Have: • Experience with pricing analytics and KPI frameworks (margin leakage, price realization, deal performance). • Exposure to AI/ML concepts in commercial analytics (forecasting, anomaly detection, segmentation, elasticity). • Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, and data pipelines. • Agile/Scrum delivery experience; tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps. • Exposure to ERP/CRM/CPQ ecosystems and enterprise master data management
