About this role
Primary Responsibilities:
• Execute trades (equities, fixed income, FX, ETFs) accurately based on PM instructions and within approved limits. • Manage ETF execution, including secondary market trading and supporting primary market creation/redemption processes. • Monitor market prices, liquidity, and order flow to support best execution and minimize market impact. • Coordinate with regional offices, PMs, brokers, custodians, and operations to ensure seamless trade lifecycle and allocation. • Ensure compliance with fund mandates, FSC regulations, and internal pre/post-trade controls. • Maintain accurate trade booking, monitor positions/cash, and support settlement via TDCC/CMU including issue resolution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • 3 years of experience in asset management, dealing room, trading support, or fund operations. • Must hold at least one valid Taiwan certification: 投信投顧業務員(Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Professional), 證券商高級業務員(Senior Securities Specialist), or 證券投資分析師(Securities Investment Analyst). • Basic understanding of buy-side investment processes, including fund structures, portfolio management workflows, and Taiwan market practices (TWSE/TPEx). • Exposure to ETFs, index funds, or passive investment strategies is preferred. • Familiarity with fund compliance requirements, investment restrictions, and regulatory expectations under FSC supervision. • Knowledge of best execution, trade allocation, and conflict-of-interest principles in a buy-side environment. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced dealing room. • Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with regional offices, PMs, brokers, custodians, and operations teams. • Proficiency in Bloomberg or similar market data systems, and Microsoft Excel/reporting tools. • Experience in a Taiwan-regulated financial institution (Asset Management, bank, or securities firm) is preferred. • Willingness to work in a high-paced dealing room aligned with Taiwan market hours, with flexibility to support global markets when needed.
